Prom Purse Essentials

Prom night is one of the most memorable nights of your high school career, but the last thing you want is to remember it for an accident you could have prepared for! In order to avoid a mishap of your own, I have compiled a short list of some great things to keep in your prom purse for the night.

The Essentials.

One item, and perhaps the most essential item, to keep in your prom purse would be band-aids. These are useful for so many different reasons. Other than the obvious scratch cover up, band-aids can help relieve blisters from shoes and any scratching/rubbing your gown might be doing with all of your dancing.

The next essential item would be a tide stick, or any kind of stain remover stick. If you’re like me and always get something on your clothes when you go out to eat, this item is a lifesaver.  Spot treatment on the go is always a good idea, but if you are wanting to keep the dress in good shape after the dance, make sure to get it to a cleaner as soon as possible.

In regards to beauty products, I suggest bringing along some oil blotting sheets, powder makeup, and some lipstick or gloss. These items may seem small, but they will go a long way when touching up your makeup that you worked so hard on. If it’s getting close to your time of the month, it also wouldn’t hurt to pack an extra feminine product or two. You never want to be caught off guard by mother nature on your prom night!

When you’re busting a move on the dance floor, you are going to get sweaty, so definitely make sure to pack a travel size deodorant and extra bobby pins and hair ties. These items will not only be your lifesaver, but maybe a friend’s as well!

~relax, refresh, and go again.~
